Prayer is a lifeline to the throne of God. The writer of Hebrews assures us in Hebrews 4: 14-16, that since God sympathizes with our weakness (Jesus was tempted in all ways – yet without sin), we can approach His throne with confidence and find His mercy and grace to help us in our times of need.
We are told in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing. Since I have learned to accept and admit that I can do no good thing, or think any good thought on my own, I am in on-going communication/communion with my Helper/Savior, Jesus – as He directs my path and molds me into His image.
I have also learned to ask others (who believe in God’s power, ability, and willingness to guide our steps, save, heal, and deliver) to pray for me and to intercede for others who are on my heart.
In my blog I have shared many of the wondrous ways the LORD has proved Himself strong in my life (over and over again), as well as told the testimonies of others who have also watched as the LORD met them in their greatest hours of need.
My Offer of Prayer
So I am offering you a place to come (my blog) where you can leave your pain, struggles, triumphs, tears, joys, and fears, at the throne of God’s mercy and grace. I will intercede for you in prayer, and with praise (please include victory reports ) – for anything – big or small, ordinary life issues or the “impossible.” Just send me a comment with your prayer request. I will intercede for you, then write you back with a written prayer related to your specific request.
I believe Jesus is LORD over all – over every challenge, hardship, sickness, etc… He promises if we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29: 11-14). That all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purposes – as we are conformed into the image of Christ our LORD (Romans 8: 28-30). Note: That verse does not say all things are good, but, that all things work together for good. The intended outcome (of our earthly life with Christ) is that we become conformed into Jesus’ image – for the eyes of the world to see His goodness, and believe in His Name.
If you’ve given Jesus Lordship over all (over your whole life), if you are willing to seek Him with all your heart, and if you are called according to HIS purposes, I would love to pray for you. Please let me know how.
